Cub Scout Pack 400 Durham

This weekend, Cub Scout Pack 400 hosted Science Saturday. This science outreach event was a blast! Open to the community, we had participants come from Raleigh to Hillsborough and just about everywhere in between! Participants saw fossils up close thanks to volunteers with the NC Fossil Club, learned about water conservation and pollution from the City of Durham- Stormwater division, did hands-on science experiments and saw cool demos thanks to volunteers from Duke (faculty, postdocs, grad students and staff from the departments of Cell Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Duke Brain Tumor Center, DHVI, & Optical Society Student Chapter), faculty and students from UNC, Patrick & Henry Community College, and Elon, and leaders in our Cub Scout pack!
