Exciting announcement 🎉 My friends , .billups, , and I have been having some beautiful conversations lately about what it looks like to navigate family, church, and online life today—and we want to invite y’all in.

Introducing the Side Aisle: a limited series podcast on finding belonging when your values have led you out of the mainstream and into the margins.

We believe an either/or approach to faith and politics is NOT our only option. Which is great news since this approach just isn’t working anymore.

Over six episodes, we’ll discuss how we are learning to care for family, church, and community well—along with some spiritual practices that keep us grounded through it all. We hope you’ll join in!

First episode drops March 18. Visit thesideaisle dot com to learn more!

Comment BP for a link to register for my FREE!! Bake & Pray virtual workshop.

I believe with all my heart that this Bake & Pray method of making bread is a tool that we all could use as we navigate the grief and exhaustion of our current cultural and political moment.

If you are feeling weary, heartbroken, or in need to tactile ways of knowing God is near, then I’d love to have you join me on Thursday evening.

Today’s Gospel reading is the beatitudes: blessed are the poor in spirit, blessed are those who mourn, blessed are the meek, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.

It’s a reminder that God’s ways look nothing like the world’s ways, and the powers that be—those who taunt and kidnap and kill—are far more fragile than they believe.

For the full history, listen to my episode of Kitchen Meditations On King Cake wherever you listen to podcasts.
