bittergoods is a small, woman owned business based in Durham, North Carolina, designing and making accessories and gifts for bitter and sweet people. Co owner Ilana draws the art behind their products and co owner Molly makes their jewelry. Their collection is kitschy and nostalgic, featuring hand woven necklaces, hand beaded keychains, and unique acetate claw clips in shapes ranging from cocktails to flowers to local landmarks. bittergoods’ latest designs include new claw clips like Blue Jay, Raven, and Book, along with additional bag charms and necklaces made from vibrant paracord.

✸ Sunday, May 17 Vendor Spotlight : Spear Maker Ceramics ✸

Menan Al Ramah is a Raleigh based ceramic artist and Iraqi refugee whose work explores memory, loss, and resilience through sculptural pottery. She creates handbuilt pieces using stoneware, often featuring matte, textured surfaces inspired by aged objects, artifacts, erosion, and ruins alongside Middle Eastern aesthetics. Her work blends sculptural vessels and functional pottery, reflecting themes of displacement and cultural identity. For this market, she is especially excited to share some of her recent sculptural work and a new line of functional pottery.
