From the NAR's Chief Economist:
The Median Home Price in Durham County in January was $278,500, outpacing the Triangle as a whole which was $275,900. The January year-over-year increase in median home price for the Triangle was +6.1%, but for Durham, it was a whopping +17.3%! The price growth over all is driven largely by a tremendous lack of inventory. For Durham, it is also boosted by the word getting out about how awesome the Bull City is! Available for sale residential inventory in Durham County, with a population well over 300,000, was below 700!! That's only a 1.5 month supply!! If you are considering selling a property, this is definitely the time to do it. Call me... I can help.
