My family never saw him again. I just thought I should share this story about my family with y’all. It’s been on my mind a lot the past week especially with what’s going on, especially in NC right now. My parent never got to hug my brother again. My sister never got to follow behind my brother again. Peace to all my Khmer brothers and sisters whose families went thru the same thing. Peace to all my black and brown and Latino families that are going through this feeling right now.
