The Center is a proud recipient of a grant award from the South Carolina Bar Foundation for the 2026-2027 grant cycle. Funds will be used to continue the Center's expanded mission to identify and correct wrongful convictions in South Carolina. There is much work to do in South Carolina, and we appreciate the South Carolina Bar Foundation’s commitment to our work and its citizens. Thank you!

Happy Birthday to our client, Rayshawn Banner! 🌟

Rayshawn and his brother have been wrongfully incarcerated for over 23 years for a murder they did not commit. Even though their convictions were overturned last year, they remain in prison as the State fights against the truth. We will continue to fight for justice to be served so Rayshawn and his brother can be home with their family.

Join us in wishing Rayshawn a very happy birthday! Head over to nccai.org to support our work and learn more about the “Winston-Salem Five” story!
