FNUSA fully opposes HR2601 and all amendments, which would require the National Human Trafficking Hotline to report tips to law enforcement. Survivors of need a safe and confidential place to reach out for help. Turning this hotline into a tipline is dangerous to survivors, a waste of resources, entirely unethical, and inherently a conflict of interest.
