Last week, NC Department of Health and Human Services workers rallied in Butner, NC demanding:

😷Safe Staffing
🤑Real raise in state budget of 25% and $25/hr
🧐No strings attached to the “bonus”
😂Tax the rich and corporations

We call on Speaker Destin Hall Phil Berger and the North Carolina Republican Party to do the right thing with the state budget

Last night, UE150 member Darrion Smith spoke out against Duke Energy’s outrageous proposal to raise utility rates by 18% to build dirty power plants that we don’t want! 84% of this new energy will go to Data Centers, which we don’t want! Data Centers which will pollute our communities and allow tech companies to surveil workers more, which we don’t want!
