Some parts of you were shaped by survival, and they came from moments when you were just trying to get through with what you had.
It can be easy to look back and wish you were different, softer, or less affected by what you’ve been through, but those parts of you did not appear without reason.
Healing is not always about changing those parts. Sometimes, it is about understanding them, being gentler with yourself, and learning to love the version of you that did what it had to do 🤍
