This July, we invite you to experience rhythms of restoration at our Sunday Living Arts Dancewave. Here's what you can expect 🔆
11:11 am - Practice Space + Arrival
11:45 am - Opening Dancewave Guidelines (Please attend if it’s your first time!)
12:00 pm - Living Arts Dancewave
1:30 pm - Optional Closing Circle
Our Dancewaves are 90-minute guided movement journeys guided by Living Arts facilitators and a rotating crew of setlist curators who weave thoughtfully crafted playlists. These rhythms follow the energetic arc of a wave: beginning gently, rising into expressive peaks, and settling back into quiet stillness.
Here's our schedule of setweavers this month:
7/5 - Kevin Ryan
7/12 - Joan Varini
7/19 - Caroline Dyar and Gino Lerebours
7/26 - Matthew Young
There is no choreography or expectation; participants are invited into improvised, intuitive movement, allowing the body to lead.
On the first Sunday of the month (7/5):
10:10 - 11:11 am Song Circle
You’re invited to join us in song as we honor the sacred life we share. Feel free to bring a song for the group to sing together.
Registration: $20 is the baseline, suggested price which helps us cover our space and facilitator costs. You are welcome to contribute more, or use discount code options at checkout. Click the link in our bio to register in advance!

You're invited to our Summer Underscore: next Saturday, July 11th from 10am-2pm.
The Underscore is a long-form dance improvisation practice developed by Nancy Stark Smith and practiced all over the globe since 1990: it unfolds from stillness and internal attention through solo and ensemble dancing, closing in community harvest.
If you've ever noticed the subtle repeating patterns and consistent logic that lives "under" the typical flow of a jam, we invite you to experience the language for this score, the compositional imagery (symbols) that give words to its structure!
There are 20+ phases of the Underscore, each represented by a glyph, that create an experiential map for dancers while leaving you free to create your own movements, dynamics, and relationships within it.
This event is for those with a foundation in Contact Improvisation. Pre-registration is required, along with a virtual talk-though: recording sent on registration.
this season's Underscore is facilitated by Ginger Wagg ( )
Sliding scale: $30 / $45 / $60 ($45 suggested).
Register on the CI + Somatics page on our website (link in bio). 🔆
