This is your reminder that any students who will not be at Duke this semester should complete their insurance change request by January 31st! You will either enroll or waive enrollment. This includes students such as:
- Robertson Scholars enrolled at UNC for the semester
-Any student studying abroad
-Any student on a period of leave or absence
-Transfer students or those new to the University
-Any student who missed the fall deadline

Happy National Fiber Focus Month! 🌾

Did you know that fiber is an excellent nutrient for promoting digestive, heart, and gut health?! This National Fiber Focus month let’s learn about the importance of fiber and find new ways to incorporate more fiber into our diets!

There are two types of fiber: soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber dissolves in water to form gel-like substance and is typically found in oats, beans, fruits, vegetables, and grains. Insoluble fiber does not dissolve in water and adds bulk to stool helping food pass through the digestive system and is typically found in whole grains, nuts seeds, and the skin of fruits and vegetables!
