Life Inside, Remixed: How I Found Peace in the Prison Garden Bobby Bostic was only 18 when he was sentenced to 241 years behind bars. To his surprise, weeds, water and soil put the St. Louis native on the path to healing.

The NCCADP's Walk for Commutation begins today, the 26th, with their kick-off media conference outside the Forsyth County courthouse. The walk will begin in Winston-Salem and end in Raleigh on October 10th, which is World Day Against the Death Penalty. The walk will feature programming about racism and injustice in the criminal legal system at both historic and contemporary sites in the wider context of North Carolina. Over the two weeks, gather for shared meals, film screenings, conversations, and opportunities to connect to our incarcerated community.

Something to Say is open now until the 13th of October at Margaret Lane Gallery! Join us in celebrating at the Opening Reception this Friday, the 27th, 6-9pm. Additionally, a Friends and Family Gathering will be hosted October 5th 1:30-4pm. (general public is welcome!) Come by to experience the art and poetry of the men at Orange Correctional Center.
