Dear God, thank You for a new day. I woke up with gratitude in my heart and joy in my soul. Thank You for protecting me as I slept, and for lifting me up with Your grace and mercy. Every breath is a blessing, and every moment reminds me of how far I’ve come. Your word in John 14:6 says, “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” God, thank You for being the One I can run to when I don’t know which way to go. You are the way, the truth, and the life. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. You see me and You understand, and through You, all things are possible. I will follow You and trust You forever. Thank You for giving me the gift of salvation and for coming into this world as a light so that I can be free. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. -Titus 3:5

Dear God, thank You for this day. Thank You for being with me through the highest points of my life and the lowest valleys. This is the day that You’ve made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I ask for Your strength to fall fresh on me. I’m crying out to You for help, and I’m asking You to guide me through this day. Your word in Psalm 94:19 says, “When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought me joy.” And God, I pray for unspeakable joy to rise up within me and carry me through this day. You know me, and You made me. Do what only You can do and bring supernatural peace to my mind. I give You all of my thoughts and everything that’s weighing me down. Help me to remember that if I feel overwhelmed by my anxious thoughts, I can trust You to bring peace to my mind and keep my heart fixed on Your promises. I have faith, and I choose to place it fully in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
