Are you ready to start your machine sewing journey, or brush up on your sewing skills? We have two spots on our Intro to Machine Sewing class this Sunday, and we'll be sewing up a custom tool roll which can hold everything from pens and markers, to knitting needles or clay tools.
We'll cover setting up and threading your machine, adjusting the little dials and k***s, and sewing a straight stitch! If you don't have your own machine, you can use one of our classroom machines to see if this sewing thing is for you! Register via the website, or stop by the shop for assistance.

It's time for ! Get ready for a month of casual handmade outfit documentation, TNT (Tried and True) pattern repeats, and reflections on fashion and making!
We're kicking off tomorrow from 6 -8 pm at to share our pledge for the month, and mingle with other makers. We'll also be announcing a fun sewing surprise tomorrow here on the 'gram that I know you'll have questions about!

Me Made May is an annual event started by to build intention around wearing your handmades! You set your own goals and make your own pledge, whether you have one item or a full handmade wardrobe.

May is nearly here, and we've got lots of fun classes and activities on the schedule! If granny squares are on your list, we've got a class for a granny square bucket hat starting this Saturday, and we've added a second session of our Cloudbreak Tee class starting at the end of the month. We've also posted our summer camps with , with sessions for kids and adults!
We're going to kick off this Friday at Lakewood Social from 6-8 pm, so if you'd like to build a more intentional relationship with your handmade wardrobe, join us to set your goals for the month! We'll also be making a fun announcement this week that's going to be particularly relevant for our garment sewists, so stay tuned!!
