Prayer Power Minute: “Bless The Lord” 💙

Psalm 103:1-2 KJV - Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits 📖

Within this Psalm, David does not take long to make his feelings known. Making a personal request that his soul (Mind, Will, and Emotions), and anything else that can come to immediate attention, honor the Lord.🙏

Why the urgency in this request? Could it be that David was grateful to God for choosing him to serve, or perhaps for God giving him a second chance after he had failed? 🤔

Whatever the reason, we can all identify with his words. Remembering a time that the Lord spared our lives, provided when we were in need, or comforted us when in trouble. We, too, should command our souls to “Bless the Lord”! 🙌

Prayer: Lord, thank you for Your grace and mercy toward us, even when we sometimes fail to Bless Your Name! Amen ❤️
