We are honored to stand alongside our community in celebrating the life, legacy, and impact of Dr. Diane Johnson, a beloved educator who poured so much into Durham students and families for more than 30 years.

This year, Hairizon is proud to provide one of the prizes to the recipient of the People’s Choice Educator Award, presented in Dr. Johnson’s honor during the Annual Youth and Family Forum for Gun Violence Prevention.

Dr. Johnson was more than an educator. She was a mentor, leader, advocate, and family friend whose influence continues to be felt throughout our community. Her passion for student achievement, excellence, and uplifting others left a lasting mark on countless lives.
