Transitioning into stable housing can feel a little empty without the basics to settle in and begin again. Help someone feel at home–one essential at a time.
Research Triangle Foundation is hosting a Home Essentials Drive in partnership with Housing for New Hope to support neighbors transitioning from homelessness into stable housing. By donating new, everyday items—like cookware and bedding—you’re helping someone take their next best step toward stability and independence.
Through April 29, drop off donations for “Home Essentials Kits” at:
📍 Frontier RTP – 1st floor elevator lobby
📍 Boxyard RTP – Inside Fullsteam - Boxyard RTP
**Donated items must be new.
Housing for New Hope has spent decades connecting individuals and families to housing and hope, grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Their mission and story reflect the Foundation's shared commitment to creating a more inclusive, supportive community in RTP.

Hello, sunshine! ☀️
We had the pleasure of touring Durham County Government County Commissioners and Leadership Team members around the Hub RTP campus this week.
Research Triangle Foundation of NC VP of Real Estate Carolyn Coia shared exciting updates on the office and retail tenants coming soon to Horseshoe at Hub RTP - Raleigh Durham —including Genesys, Cheeni, Nanny Goat, Prime STQ and Drift Coffee & Kitchen. Plus, new murals, public amenities and outdoor spaces are taking shape, with even more development on the horizon!
We’re grateful for Durham County Government’s $20M investment and strong partnership in transforming this downtown destination into a vibrant place to work, play, and stay.
Thank you, Durham County leaders, for taking the time to experience these progress updates first-hand with Carolyn, Scott Levitan and Travis Crayton.
