The most important thing about recognizing the false self, is that it is false. It is not you, the false self can be dealt with. If we want to explore and experience the life that Jesus wants for us we have to shed the scales of the false self. We have to allow ourselves to feel, be known, and live how Jesus made us to live. Living out the call He has put on our lives from the moment He made us.
