These are all great signs!
3 Ways to tell if a company is interested in hiring you:
1. Are they trying to sell you on the company? If they spend time in the interview telling you about the company and team, they want to make sure you fully understand what you’re walking into. A good hiring manager knows you’re assessing them just as much as they are assessing you - they want you to feel like it’s a good fit!
2. Who are you meeting? If you’re meeting with the whole team, that’s a great sign! In most companies, time is scarce. If they’re taking time from everyone’s schedule to meet with you, they’re invested. They want everyone’s input on you and that’s a GOOD thing! Demonstrate who you are and what it would be like to work with you.
3. Asking you questions about your goals/plans. They want to understand your motivations so they can make you a solid offer.
If you think you’re being assessed this way, be sure to show what it would be like to work with you and what you can bring to the team. Don’t forget that it’s important to be a good cultural fit and likable!
I’ve spent the last 4 years helping people navigate their careers, land jobs, negotiate offers, and figure out what’s next.
And now… it’s my turn again. 🤍
I recently accepted a full-time role in Finance within the tech industry, and I’m genuinely excited for this next chapter. While I’m keeping the details private for now, I will be sharing a detailed series on how I landed this job — from the search process to interviews to mindset shifts along the way.
This experience reminded me that no matter how much experience you have, job searching can still be emotional, humbling, exciting, and transformational. If anything, it’s made me feel even more connected to the people I’ve worked with over the years.
A few things are changing:
✨ I won’t be offering 1:1 coaching right now
✨ I will be doubling down on content
✨ I’ll be creating a consistent Live schedule to answer questions & connect in real time
✨ My resources are still available on my website for anyone who needs support
This isn’t me leaving this space. It’s me entering it from a different perspective. I’ll be taking on opportunities to connect with new audiences through partnerships and expand my reach on socials.
New chapter. Same mission. Let’s do this! 🚀
