Theatre at Southeastern presents its award-winning production of The Time Is Out Of Joint: A Study of Hamlet.

This 39-minute version of Shakespeare’s classic provides all the pageantry, drama, and action of the original; now in an arts center or school district friendly time format. Six highly talented actors play multiple parts in this touring production.

New York City Premiere:

Theatre at Southeastern presented The Time Is Out Of Joint: A Study of Hamlet as its first ever New York City production spring of 2009 in mid-town Manhattan. Created by the late Director of Theatre Dr. Molly Risso, this one act version of Shakespeare’s classic was produced with a cast of Southeastern alumni living and working in the Big Apple.

Nationally Award-Winning Direction:

Re-edited and staged by Dell McLain; The Time Is Out Of Joint: A Study of Hamlet provides a fresh but respectful interpretation of one of the greatest dramas of all time. McLain is a member of Actor’s Equity Association, the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, and is a recipient of the John F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts’ Bronze Medallion and National Directing Fellowship.
