Summertime and swimming are made for each other. Is there anything better than a lazy day by Main Lake or a refreshing dip in a mountain stream after a long hike? Do you ever wonder what happens at camp after the sun goes down? Spoiler alert: we don’t go straight to bed! Summer nights at camp are magical: it’s a time to unwind and come together, enjoy quieter activities like card games, sing-a-longs and skits, or take in a fire dancing show (really!), and no summer is complete without an epic camp dance! On the trail, campers often take in a showstopper of a sunset before hitting the hay, or practice their stargazing skills when the moon is new. Yes folks, nighttime at camp is magical!

What's a Colorado camp without horses? Our always popular horse program is a CSC summer staple! From silly horse “beauty salon” activities to epic all-day trail rides, horses and camp go hand-in-hoof!

We are officially 124 days away from opening night dinner in the lodge! The lodge is truly the heart of camp, where the pitchers of bug juice are always full and lifelong friends reunite. What classic camp meal are you most looking forward to in 2026?? Let us know!
