Yesterday our students lined the halls to celebrate our St. Columba alumni who are now seniors graduating from our local high schools this Friday. 🎓

Just as they did at the end of 8th grade, we gathered around them once again in our gym circle for a special blessing. What a beautiful reminder that no matter where life takes them, they will always be part of this community.

We are so proud of each and every one of them and pray they carry the love, light, and presence of the Lord with them into this next chapter of life. Congratulations, Class of 2026 (St. Columba class of 2022)!

Last night our 8th graders graduated and closed this beautiful chapter together. While this may be the last time this class was all gathered together in one place, the love, friendship, faith, and light they shared will continue far beyond these walls. We are so proud of each and every one of you and cannot wait to see where God leads you next.

Our middle school students are bringing Seussical Jr. the Musical to life this weekend with incredible energy, color, and talent. From Horton to the Cat in the Hat, they’ve been working hard to make this a show you won’t want to miss!

Last Friday we continued one of our most cherished traditions, May Crowning. We gathered as a community to honor Mary, our heavenly mother, celebrating Mass together. Afterward, we shared a lovely lunch in a beautifully decorated cafeteria, making the day even more special. A meaningful tradition that brings faith, beauty, and community together.

We had a special visitor in 1st grade! Mr. Joyner, a retired forest ranger, joined us to share all about native animals of the Southwest and their habitats; perfectly connecting to 1st grades’ CKLA unit on Animals & Habitats. From an engaging presentation and photos to a fun Q&A, the highlight was getting to see and even handle Rosy Boa snakes! 🐍

Join us on Friday, May 1st at 10:00 AM for Mass at Viles Park as we honor Mary. Students should bring flowers as a special offering. A luncheon will follow for families who RSVP; come share a meal and join in fellowship with our school community!
