Well, the double crop no-till corn is looking good. Might be knee high by the 4th of July, depends on how tall you are. 😎

Put in some soybeans yesterday, and we're back at it today.

Putting nitrogen fertilizer to the field corn today. We could sure use some rain. It's hot out here! 😵‍💫

We're planting no-till corn behind oats today. This is definitely going to be an interesting experiment. Fits in pretty good with the crazy year we've had so far. 😁

We picked this field of wheat Saturday. The yield on our small grains wasn't what we hoped it would be, but didn't surprise us after the drought we've been in. We're trusting the Lord to help us through, and we're looking into some alternative ways to market this grain direct to customer. Stay tuned if you want to see what we have planned!

Recipe for ribs we had tonight. Tasted absolutely amazing after a long afternoon in the combine harvesting oats. Don't forget we offer pasture-raised pork for sale here at the farm. Message us if you want to get some for yourself!

Back to picking oats this afternoon. Unfortunately, the a/c broke yesterday, so it's a bit hot in the cab today. Got parts for it this morning, so hopefully, we'll get it fixed soon. It's running good otherwise, so we're knocking out some acres.
