Dropped off these beauties along with some sandwiches, salad and crudite for the bands and volunteers at the Mayfly Music Festival happening today at Wolverine Park.

It is truly an honor to be able to give back to our community and help celebrate the people who have made this festival possible over the past 25 years. 💙

Im off to a Grad 🎓 party now, but I'll be heading back to the festival later to check out tonight's music lineup and get my Margaritaville on with friends before the 🎇 kick off at dusk.

We are just 2️⃣ days away from a rockin good time at the 25th annual Mayfly Music Festival happening right here in downtown Dundee on Saturday, June 13th!

The fun starts at 11am when the gates open for a fun day filled with family activities, live entertainment and food trucks, with classic carnival concessions from JEMS Concessions , Nemeth's Concessions and Tatros Concessions-Cotton Candy etc along with tasty Tacos from Taqueria Nena’s food truck and Olgas Caters, serving up Mac & Cheese, and grab a frosty libation from the Festivals 🍺 tent ⛺️!

As the sun starts to set, swing back around for some summer sounds with local legend, the Stealin Copper Band and Air Margaritaville — a Jimmy Buffet Tribute band before the evenings headliner Detroit Rock City takes the stage at 9pm.
And make sure to stick around for the Fireworks 🎆 display happening at dusk at 10pm!

Admission is just $5 with children 12 and under free, and is good for the whole day. A great way to kick off summer and opportunity to come out and enjoy the sunshine and mingle with friends and neighbors in the community.
Additional Food & Beverage options are available by visiting the restaurants and businesses throughout town! (Except us, since I'll be at the festival)

Parking will be available in the municpal lot adjacent to Nutrition Village with additional parking available along Ypsilanti & Van Nest Streets, and at the Dundee Area Senior Center Street Parking is limited. If you manage to snag a spot on the street, please do not block fire hydrants or resident driveways unless you want to be towed.
