Our recent flood highlighted just how fragile our system is. One emergency halted operations immediately. Families and staff were left scrambling wondering what would come next.

At the same time, providers and families across our state are navigating fear far beyond the walls of our centers. Families are afraid to leave their homes.

Childcare is infrastructure. It cannot exist on the brink. It cannot exist in fear. It cannot survive on rhetoric that devalues the people and communities who make it possible.

We are ready for a future where childcare is fully funded, protected, and recognized as essential. We are ready for systems that support providers BEFORE they reach the brink. And we will continue sharing our story, standing with our families, and advocating for a Minnesota where every child, every educator, and every family is safe, supported, and able to thrive.
