2026 Alumni Award Winner Spotlight: Brenda Kimlinger

Brenda has been awarded the inaugural Honorary Alumni Award. The Honorary Alumni Award is a distinguished recognition bestowed upon an individual who, though not a graduate of the College, has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the mission, values, and spirit of St. Scholastica. Established to honor those whose service, leadership, advocacy, and generosity have significantly advanced the College and enriched the lives of its students, alumni, and broader community.

Brenda Kimlinger retired from The College of St. Scholastica in 2025 after 20 years of dedicated service in Alumni Engagement and Foundation & Government Relations within the College Advancement Office. Known for her outgoing personality and wonderful sense of humor, Brenda especially enjoyed meeting alumni who visited the College and learning about their stories, experiences, and connections to CSS.

Her former colleagues describe her as someone who brought energy, warmth, and laughter to every meeting. They would also quickly note that Brenda is an avid reader who enjoys sharing book reviews on social media. Outside of work, Brenda treasures time with her husband of 25 years and enjoys visiting her daughter and son-in-law in Montana.
