Taking two ABANDONED cars to build a RACECAR! 05/06/2026

Jumping into the deep end with filming a YouTube series for this upcoming race season! First, thanks to Carsandcameras for allowing me to be apart of the crew for a few months last year and see how the process of filming a video goes. Second, thanks to Jase Wiarda at UNKS Racing for supplying the cars in the video to build and for pushing me to get back into it! Lastly, thanks to Fossum Plumbing and Drew Kaspari for access to the shop and the help in getting everything started! 🀘

There is another video still in the works as the race season is FAST approaching... Hoping to find time to get this thing done and make some trips to Victory Lane!! 🏁 Let me know what you think! Thanks to anyone who takes a moment to see what we're up to! πŸ™

Duke's Towing Inc. always brings the heat when it comes to their fleet! πŸ”₯

Thank you to everyone that stopped to see us at the Motorhead Madness car show. We have over 150 entries in our contest to β€œname the truck”. There are a ton of names we like. The winning name for our new Ram B&B wrecker is BRUISER. Congrats to Cheri Pearock on a great name. It really is fitting. If you know Cheri tag her, let her know she won a $100 gift card to our shop and some Duke Boys swag.

Wrapped up another season of racing with some good improvements and things to work on over the off-season! Black River Motorsports Park hosted their final races of the year and we're glad to have participated in the inaugural season since shutting down 15 years ago!

The day was spread out into two events. Kyle raced during the first one starting 7th and finishing 4th. Towards the end of the feature our kart showed really good speed, making moves and was fast enough to contend for a solid podium finish. Unfortunately we didn't have enough room to make a clean pass for 3rd with the laps winding down and had to jump on the brakes to avoid wreaking us both, forcing us to settle for another disappointing 4th place. 🀷

We switched things up for race #2 and brought UNKS Racing Owner Jase Wiarda out of retirement to get his feet wet in kart racing! He's been the driving force in making this deal happen and although the results don't show it, the guy can still race! We tried some things differently for his race and it just didn't quite perform the same as the first race did. Fortunately that's a lesson we can carry into next year so we both can be competitive! 🏁

It's going to be a busy off-season but if all goes to plan we hope to compete in more kart races and hop back in the FWD/Hornet division! 🀞πŸ”₯
