In the winter of 2025, Borderland Lodge co-owner Dave Catlette (42) was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma, an aggressive cancer that has spread across many bones, organs, muscle tissue, spine and brain.

We're launching a special run of merch this spring to help offset the costs of juggling the operations of our small family lodge with the extensive needs of a co-owner enduring late-stage cancer.
