At 7 Stars Ranch, Cutting the Path is more than a competition series — it’s a partnership built on trust, growth, and shared purpose.

By pairing youth cutters with veteran participants, we create an environment where learning goes both ways. Our youth riders step into leadership roles, teaching the sport of cutting, horsemanship, and coaching their veteran teammates along the journey. In return, our veterans share invaluable lessons in leadership, resilience, discipline, and performing under pressure.

Together, these teams progress through clinics here at the ranch and ultimately showcase their hard work in competition at the Dave Scribner Memorial in Verndale.
