Happy election night! Now.. it takes an entire newsroom to ensure a smooth election. So, I want to introduce you to Sue Holt, WDIO’s Digital Content Manager. But before I do that, everyone say THANK YOU SUE!

Sue told us this morning that WDIO is responsible for tracking 190 races between local, state and federal elections. She’s been working nonstop (I kid you not, 12 hour shifts multiple times a week) to ensure accurate results for the Northland. She cares so much about her craft, her colleagues and the community she’s so proudly apart of. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do everyday without her, so again, THANK YOU SUE!

This is incredible! I experienced my first Duluth ALL Souls Night and it was awesome! This moose was crafted completely by hand and has been in the works for a loooong time. WDIO reported on Mary Plaster’s project back in June.

I have some news to share! This is my last week as your Good Morning Northland anchor. Thank you all so much for inviting me into your homes and letting me share a little bit of my life with you. HOWEVER, I’m not going too far. Sorry Northland, you’re stuck with me! After a week long vacation to Montana to see my best friend, I’ll be back in the community reporting for WDIO News. AND you can still catch me anchoring at 10 pm on Sundays. I’m so passionate about this community and I’m excited for this change. I’ll be able to tell you about even more cool stuff this area has to offer! Thank you all for your much needed support❤️
