Imagine how crazy you would sound if you went back in time just 10 years and told leftists what their common position is now. That their "Weekend At Bernies" candidate was too senile to continue so they'd be voting for a cop and a snitch that are both war mongers and have absolute faith in Big Pharma. That would just be silly wouldn't it? though right?
