How we installed our flangeless European tilt turn windows from with proclima products from @475.supply inside of a 2x10 wall with a 3/4” rainscreen:

1. Finished product
2. Sloped sill with back-dam flashed.
3. Thermal break on window exterior.
4. Insulation taped to wrb and sill flashing
5. Rain screen and bug screen installed to up to sill. We use old political yard signs between battens to make sure the bug screen doesn’t collapse.
6. Picture frames trim installed. Head flashing is taped to wrb then the bug screen and rain screen restarts.
7. A custom sill pan with a 3/8” vertical leg is loosely tucked into a channel on the underside of the window bringing water over top of the trim. It’s loose so water that may get to the rough sill can drain and air can vent from rain screen below.
8. Exterior window frame taped to self adhered wrb.
9&10. Interior window frame taped to wrb. Wrb is continuous with the Interior smart v***r membrane, which, in this case, is also our primary air barrier.

Siding progress on the addition project

We just completed a bathroom refresh in this 1920’s home. We kept the original marble mosaic floor tile and after a polish it’s looking young again! We used the original cap moulding in the house (last pic) as inspiration for the wainscoting detail and gave it a crisp cabinet quality finish. We removed the saturated drywall acting as a tile backer 🙄 and properly waterproofed the tub surround. New fixtures and finishes bring it all together!
