It feels like Spring is finally making its way to the Northland and our first above 50 degree day felt amazing! The snow was melting, birds are starting to flutter about and we even noticed small amounts of green in our perennial garden spaces (nettles, sage, thyme, oregano, yarrow and more). We spent some time pruning our apple trees, broadcasting trace minerals on our field and cleaning up our trellis systems.

To mark the Equinox, we also stirred and sprayed our Buffalo Field Activator from to give our offerings to the land for the season ahead. Our intentions today were to acknowledge our place here on Earth and to ask for balance, health and abundance this year, calling in the elements of warmth and light to aid us in growing. This simple yet extremely powerful ceremony helps us deepen our connection to our farm, while connecting us to countless other people world wide who are taking part in these synchronized sprays in the effort to heal the world. ✨✨✨

This year we will continue to incorporate Biodynamic principles and practices into our daily routines and we invite you to explore them too to see how they might support the rhythm of your own life and gardens. Our next stir and spray will be around May 1 with the continued intentions of enlivening our soil and bringing balance to our farm.
