At 39, Amy was healthy and six years away from the recommended screening age — until she was turned away from donating blood because of low iron. That follow-up led to a colonoscopy and a diagnosis of stage 3 colon cancer and a rare genetic condition.

No family history. No obvious warning signs.

That test changed everything —and later led to the discovery of liver cancer, too.
