Reminder: The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance's Operation Safe Driver Week will take place next week, July 12-18. 🚚 🚓
Officers will be looking for vehicles displaying unsafe driving behaviors, such as speeding, distracted driving, fatigued/drowsy driving, following too closely, impaired driving, failure to wear a seatbelt, unsafe lane changes, and disregarding traffic signals.

Rantz’s photo, taken north of Las Vegas along Interstate-15 in June 2025, earned him second place in the 2025 Pride in Your Ride photo contest.

The Ogden, UT, terminal driver calls his truck his home away from home. With more time spent in the truck some weeks than at his own house, Rantz says it’s important to keep the vehicle tidy.

A well-maintained truck is important because it’s our office and our home,” said the driver, who is in his 26th year with Foodliner. “To keep a good mindset, it’s important to keep our home/office clean, fresh, and good-looking.” 🏠︎

During his travels, a good trail mix and popular podcasts, like “Pardon My Take” and “The Dan Patrick Show,” help Rantz pass the time.
