Dubuque students get free glasses as nonprofit celebrates local anniversary As she put on her new pair of glasses Thursday at Lincoln Elementary School, first-grader La’Darianna Clark was all smiles.

We celebrated this milestone at Lincoln Elementary in Dubuque, and what a meaningful day it was!

Since 2016, we’ve provided 23,335 eye exams and 19,723 pairs of glasses to students at 185 schools across Iowa, helping kids see clearly and succeed in the classroom.

One educator shared, “You can see the difference right away; it changes everything.” 💛

A huge thank you to our partners, including The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, Alice Hermeier Foundation, Allamakee Community Foundation, Delta Dental, and United Way of Central Iowa, for making this work possible.

We’re so grateful to every school and community that’s been part of this journey.

Here’s to the next 10 years!

Vision To Learn has been serving children in Iowa for ten years. 23,000 children there have received free glasses — and yesterday, 23 more students at Lincoln Elementary got their first pair. That's 70 kids at the Lincoln this school year.
