Lots of blood, sweat, time… oh my gosh lots and lots of late nights, and tears… (mostly me) to make this magical place come to life!!!

I give a massive shout out to my husband who is a true craftsman with his art of bringing life back to old buildings/homes!

Those hands worked many hours and you sacrificed so much! You still managed to be there for your family, all while working your tail off to make this come alive!

You did it! I’m so proud of you! I’m proud of us.

For now we will have traveling nurses here, then we will open it back up to air b&b in the future.

This updated loft is nestled into a quaint neighborhood with top views of the Julien Dubuque bridge and the famous Bluff in the back.
It’s a neighborhood of old charm, with modern conveniences. Truly, you’re are within walking distance of all your needs!
The hospitals are up the hill, literally! (1/2 a mile).
Farmers Market is 7 blocks away. Great walk!
Restaurants, nightlife, festivals and concert venues are within walking distance.
It’s truly a masterpiece river town filled with museums, shopping and outdoor fun for every season!
The bedrooms are cozy and welcoming! Plus the other bedroom can be an office if preferred!
The living room is spacious.
Do Yoga, have some friends over, or cuddle up with the fireplace during those cold Midwest winter nights.
The kitchen is great! Lots of storage! Tell Alexa to turn on the music and cook up a storm!
Bathroom has an old hotel charm to it!
It’s vintage and modern.
The porch is perfect for your morning coffee or a night cap!
You can see the 4th street elevators run up and down the track. This was used back in the 1800’s for river workers to get from the bluff to the river.
It’s still runs today, and people from all over the world come to visit!

Poured our patio this morning! Can’t wait to jazz it up with our patio accessories, some throw pillows and greenery! We marked it with our handprints 🤚🏼too! My hubby, myself, our lil girl and of course the pup walked through it too! Haha!

May 21st is our first booking! We are soooo thrilled! And the best part??? The gal that booked... her great great great grandfather built this beautiful 1867 beauty!
