Last Friday, The Innovation Lab hosted a team of volunteers from HODGE, MedOne, the Black Employee Network, Dubuque Rotary Club, and more! Together, they used The Innovation Lab's business startup tools to design a social impact business for Mom's Connect - a nonprofit that works with moms transitioning out of poverty.

Two months later, the impact of the Dubuque County Business Competition, powered by Dupaco Community Credit Union, is still going strong!
With 18 participating businesses, over 70 community members in attendance, and thousands in seed funding awarded, this event continues to be a catalyst for local business growth.
