How many rounds it has
It typically goes through ~9 major stages:
1. Top 20
2. Top 15
3. Top 10
4. Top 5
5. Group Finals
6. Wildcard Round
7. Quarterfinals
8. Semifinals
9. Finals
After that → winner announced later.
I’m a Tamil ponnu from Madurai… born and brought up in India.
I had a stable IT job, over four and a half years of experience.
In 2018, I moved to the US… thinking life would grow from there.
But honestly… it felt like everything paused.
And when COVID hit, it went even more downhill.
I felt lost. Like I didn’t know what I was doing anymore.
That’s when I started painting.
Not with a plan… just with intuition.
I didn’t think much. I just let myself feel.
That’s how my first series came to life—
Soul Searching. Eight paintings.
One day, I showed them to a cafe owner…
and she was really impressed.
But more than that…
people started connecting with my work.
They told me it made them feel like they were not alone.
And that’s when I realized—
this is more than art.
