I’m going to say it… sometimes I have to convince clients not to go longer 😂

The longest lashes are not always the most flattering.

The magic is finding the length, curl, and mapping that lifts your eyes and makes you look like the best version of yourself. ✨

More lash ≠ better lash.

A lot of people don’t realize that your lashes are constantly growing, resting, and shedding.

Every natural lash is in a different phase at any given time:

✨ Anagen (Growth Phase)
This is when the lash is actively growing. If you have an extension on a lash in this phase, it may seem like it’s growing out faster because the natural lash is still getting longer.

✨ Catagen (Transition Phase)
The lash has finished growing and is getting ready to shed. This phase doesn’t last very long.

✨ Telogen (Resting Phase)
The lash is fully grown and just hanging out until it naturally sheds and a new lash starts growing in.

This is why losing a few extensions here and there is completely normal. Your lashes are supposed to shed. It’s also why fills are needed every 2–3 weeks if you want to keep them looking full.

Everyone wants better retention, so the first thing they do is buy a new glue.

Most of the time, glue isn’t the problem. 👀

Retention comes down to isolation, placement, lash health, and application technique.
