Happy Pride Month! Gateway Academy is committed to fostering a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where every student belongs.

This month, we celebrate the diversity that strengthens our community and recognize the importance of creating spaces where all students feel seen, valued, and supported. Pride Month is an opportunity to reflect on the contributions, experiences, and history of LGBTQ+ individuals while reaffirming our commitment to kindness, respect, and understanding.

Together, we continue to build a school community where everyone can learn, grow, and thrive as their authentic selves.

This year, our students were accepted to an incredible list of colleges and universities, and together they were offered over $1 million in scholarship money!

Our seniors enjoyed a little “Senior Ditch Day” at the Lagoon! ☀️🎢They’ve been working incredibly hard, and this was a well-deserved day to relax, laugh, and make memories together as graduation gets closer.

They’re officially on the home stretch, and we couldn’t be more excited for all that’s ahead for this amazing group! 🎓💙

With more than 22 years in education and a passion for helping students thrive, Michelle believes in meeting each student where they are, building trust, and creating meaningful growth through connection and support. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW), expected June 2026, further strengthening her holistic and trauma-informed approach to student success. 💙

This week, our students shared handwritten notes of thanks, and it was such a joy to see the smiles those messages brought. To make it even sweeter, our teachers enjoyed delicious caramel apples as a small token of our appreciation.
