Draper Elementary

Our Student Body Officers had the opportunity to attend a leadership conference at BYU with Mrs Asay. They won one of the three awards at the conference for talking with other councils and then getting a sticker from them. When asked how they did that with one of the smallest number of representatives, they said “that we stayed together as a team and worked together as a team.” Lizzie Cole said “It was a really fun experience! There were four speakers that taught us how to be the best leaders we can be. They spoke about how leaders like us need to try to help people realize just how special and important they are. It is also our responsibility to make sure people feel welcome and like they belong. It was a great experience and we are grateful we got to go!”

Back to School night Tuesday August 29th from 6:00-7:30p.m. Come meet with your child's teacher to learn what will be going on in their classroom this year.

We had a great first week of school last week!! It’s going to be an amazing year!
