Janine consistently shows unmatched patience and heart, treating every child as if they were her own. She ensures they are clean, fed, comforted and cared for with dignity. She has a remarkable gift for connecting with nonverbal children, working tirelessly to understand their needs and soothe them during challenging moments. Her colleagues often share that she becomes the preferred caregiver for our most complex patients, a true testament to her compassionate care and unwavering commitment.

Her keen observation, gentle presence and dedication have made a meaningful difference in the lives of so many children and families. Janine’s work inspires all of us to continue striving for excellence and to create a unit rooted in patient centered support and team collaboration.
