More celebrations to go around! We are proud to announce that Janine (2nd from the right) has been awarded the Tulip Award! The Tulip Award recognizes individuals who exemplify exceptional compassion, dedication and excellence in caring for our patients and Janine embodies all of these qualities and more.
Janine consistently shows unmatched patience and heart, treating every child as if they were her own. She ensures they are clean, fed, comforted and cared for with dignity. She has a remarkable gift for connecting with nonverbal children, working tirelessly to understand their needs and soothe them during challenging moments. Her colleagues often share that she becomes the preferred caregiver for our most complex patients, a true testament to her compassionate care and unwavering commitment.
Her keen observation, gentle presence and dedication have made a meaningful difference in the lives of so many children and families. Janine’s work inspires all of us to continue striving for excellence and to create a unit rooted in patient centered support and team collaboration. We are proud to announce Marissa as this year’s Service Excellence Award winner! Since joining our team in 2023, Marissa has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, compassion and professionalism. She builds meaningful connections with every child in our Residential Treatment Facility and Inpatient programs, offering vital nutrition education and leading wellness activities with creativity and heart.
Marissa is always willing to go above and beyond, supporting dietary staff, ensuring children’s special dietary needs are met and stepping in wherever she’s needed. Her kindness, reliability and commitment truly embody the mission and values of Foundations Behavioral Health. We were honored to sponsor the Mother to Mother Luncheon and Autism Resource Fair at Grand Point Church in Chambersburg, supporting families across Franklin County.
