Today, Profound Ladies celebrates Dr. Bettina Love, a fearless educator, scholar, and advocate for abolitionist teaching and educational justice. ✊🏾📚

Through her groundbreaking work, including We Want to Do More Than Survive: Abolitionist Teaching and the Pursuit of Educational Freedom, Dr. Love challenges us to dismantle oppressive educational systems and create spaces where Black and Brown students don’t just survive—they thrive.

Her vision for education as a site of liberation inspires educators to go beyond reform and work toward true justice and joy in learning. She reminds us that education should be radical, joyful, and rooted in love for our students and communities.

PL is out in the community and engaged with the changes taking place around education. This week, our focus was on Eggs and Issues.
