LET ME BE CLEAR 🗣 “PEOPLE DONT COMMIT SUICIDE!!!!!”

“THEY DIE BY SUICIDE!!!!!”

In 2017 I went through a very deep depression. Let me explain!!! I DIDNT WANT TO LIVE IN MY OWN SKIN. The only escape from the pain was to take my life not because I wanted to, but because of my mental health. This is the same year my brother died. Fast forward it’s 2022 and I can say that i’m thankful to be in the mental space that I am in.

MOST PEOPLE SUFFER FROM MENTAL HEALTH INTERNATIONALLY

It’s hard to admit due to the stigma and the negative connotations.

MENTAL HEALTH IS REAL AND WE MUST MAKE PEOPLE AWARE AND INFORM THEM THAT THEU ARE NOT ALONE!!!

I SHARE MY STORY BECAUSE I DONT WANT OUR YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN TO SUFFER ANY LONGER….NOT BECAUSE I WANT PITTY!!!

‼️‼️‼️Yesterday was a hard day for me, when I learned that Stephen tWitch Boss “died by su***de”

I want to educate people. He did not commit su***de. To commit is: carry out or perpetrate (a mistake, crime, or immoral act).

Mental Health is an illness.

If you have cancer you go through chemotherapy, take medication etc. Result you can possibly die depending on the stage. Ex: Stage 4

If you suffer from anxiety, depression etc you are diagnosed with a mental health disorder from the ICD 9 - ICD 10 code book. Result you can experience su***de ideation, self deprivation, etc. Ex taking your own life.

It’s a disease of the mind. Please be mindful that we are all dealing with this even if your in denial!!! It takes courage to admit!! Please be kind to yourself and others. God Bless 🙏🏽
