Ed Barela Biography:
Mr. Ed Barela is the current Owner and Director of Operations and Development at Pro-Line Development, LLC, a weld engineering and consulting solutions firm, since October 2005 and its subsidiary Certified Welding & Fabrication Company a mobile industrial welding & fabrication service provider. In this role, he oversees business development, quality control, product development and project support. As part of his consulting work, he has taken on consulting projects with Imperial Manufacturing, Grayd-A Fabricators and The Shop at Showready. Additionally, Mr. Barela serves as the General Manager at Tolar Manufacturing Company, a transit design and fabrication firm. Prior to his current roles, he was a Quality Assurance Manager at GBW Railcar Services, a joint railcar venture between The Greenbrier Companies and Watco Companies. Here, Mr. Barela managed a railcar manufacturing facility and oversaw 200 employees. Previously, he was a Broker Associate and Sales Consultant at Pro-Steel Service Supply, a sheet metal and sheet coil solutions company. Mr. Barela's earlier roles include sales and managerial positions at firms such as Total-Western, Irwin Industries, So-Cal Airgas, Tank & Refinery Services, Matrix Services and HMT Inc. Mr. Barela holds a degree form Cerritos College.
