Members of the community have created a memorial near the location where a Geneva teen recently lost his life.

Eighteen year-old Henry Blackmore was struck by an eastbound freight train at the Western Avenue railroad crossing in Geneva on February 8th. The City of Geneva reported that no foul play was suspected as of their press release on February 9.

Bouquets of flowers, two volleyballs with heartfelt messages, and a pack of Sharpies make up a memorial for the college freshman in wake of his sudden passing.

An arrangement of candles, flowers, and stuffed animals form a memorial outside of the building where a pregnant woman lost her life last week.

Eliza Nickole Morales, 30, was killed in an apparent Facebook marketplace transaction gone wrong. The 19 year old man responsible for her death remains in custody and in critical condition from self-inflicted wounds.
