Today, we remember the brave men and women of our military who laid down their lives in service to this nation — willingly carrying the burden of duty, knowing the cost could be everything.

We also honor the families left behind, whose strength, grief, and quiet endurance continue long after the sacrifice was made.

May we never become so comfortable in our freedoms that we forget the cost they came with. And may we lead our lives with the courage, humility, faith, and selflessness worthy of those who gave all.
