Most people hold a newborn’s hand and have no idea they’re holding something that isn’t fully connected yet. 🍼
When babies are born, their skeleton is mostly cartilage soft, flexible tissue that slowly hardens into bone over the first several years of life. In the hand alone, a newborn has almost no wrist bones at all, and the small bones in the fingers exist as separate little islands, not yet fused or linked the way an adult’s are.
This is actually brilliant design. A rigid skeleton would make birth far more dangerous the softness and flexibility of a baby’s bones allows them to pass through the birth canal safely, absorb bumps and falls without breaking, and grow rapidly without restriction.
By the time a child is around 3 years old, the wrist starts showing its first real bone formations. Full bone development in the hand doesn’t complete until the late teens.
So the next time you look at a baby’s chubby little fist those fingers are being held together mostly by soft tissue, cartilage, and potential. Not bone.
Did you know this before today and does it change how you think about how fragile (or tough) babies actually are? 👇

60 people sick in Idaho. Two kids on dialysis and the milk that did it is still legal and still untested. 🥛☠️
I am raw milk. I carry Campylobacter, E. coli, Salmonella and a 150x higher outbreak risk than pasteurized milk (CDC data). Idaho allows my sale but mandates zero testing for the bacteria that put children in kidney failure.Three outbreaks. One state. Less than a year. The law hasn't changed. You thought "natural" meant safe. It meant uninspected.
👇 Do you think raw milk should require mandatory pathogen testing?

City birds are secretly judging us.
A massive study across 5 European countries tracked how close men and women could walk toward 37 different urban bird species sparrows, pigeons, blackbirds, magpies and more. Researchers measured the exact moment the birds decided: “Nope, too close, I’m out of here.”
The result shocked them: on average, birds let men get about 1 meter closer than women before flying away. Clothing and height were matched, and the pattern still held across thousands of approaches. The birds are clearly picking up on human gender… but nobody really knows how or why.
Some scientists think it could be differences in walking style, posture, scent, or even how sunscreen and cosmetics look in ultraviolet light (birds see way beyond our color range). Others think it might be learned behavior from how different people move around them in cities. Right now, it’s still a mystery.
If birds are already reading tiny details about our bodies that we don’t even notice, what else are animals quietly picking up on that humans are blind to?
Do you think this says more about the birds… or more about how men and women behave around animals in cities? Why?

I Am Your American Food and I Am Banned Almost Everywhere Else!
I am your everyday American food. I sit on grocery store shelves, in school cafeterias, in vending machines, in fast food bags handed through car windows. You grew up eating me. The FDA approved me. Nobody warned you. But in dozens of countries around the world, I am either completely banned, heavily restricted, or required to carry a warning label that says I may be harmful to human health.

You always thought a heart attack came with warning. You always thought it happened to unhealthy people. But heart disease builds silently for 20 to 30 years inside people who exercise, eat well, and feel completely fine. ❤️ The plaque starts forming from chronic inflammation, blood sugar spikes, and poor sleep decades before the artery ever closes. 25% of heart attacks have zero symptoms. Women are sent home from emergency rooms misdiagnosed every single day. The biology is not a mystery anymore. The heart you have at 60 is being built right now.

What’s inside your Red Bull...😱
One small can can carry around 80 mg of caffeine, about 27 grams of sugar (6–7 teaspoons), taurine, B-vitamins, acids and carbonation a full chemistry set disguised as “energy.” It blocks your tiredness signals, spikes your blood sugar, pushes your heart and nervous system into overdrive, and then leaves you with the crash and wrecked sleep that make you reach for the next can.
You thought it was just “a little boost.” It’s really borrowed energy your body has to pay back later.
👇 What should I break down next
