🎆🌿 Field Clean-Up Volunteers Needed at Hagley Museum and Library! 🌿🎆

Help keep the grounds beautiful after Delaware’s Best Fireworks Show at Hagley Museum and Library! Volunteers are needed to assist staff with field clean-up, removing firework debris and restoring the landscape after the celebration.

📅 Saturday, June 13 & Saturday, June 20, 2026
⏰ 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

✨ Thank-you perk: Volunteers receive 4 FREE general admission tickets to explore Hagley (a $88 value)!

🧤 Gloves and trash bags provided (bring your own gloves if you prefer)
☀️ Sun protection, water bottle, and closed-toe shoes recommended

📢 Dates may change if fireworks are rescheduled due to weather. Volunteers will be contacted the Friday before to confirm.

As a volunteer, you’ll help our cats shine by:
🐱 Keeping the adoption center clean and welcoming
🥣 Making sure cats have fresh food and water
💞 Snuggling, socializing, and helping shy cats gain confidence
🎾 Playing and providing enrichment
📝 Sharing notes on each cat’s personality and health
🏡 Assisting potential adopters and answering questions
📣 Spreading the word about Forgotten Cats and our mission
